new year first day
so woke up and do what i do every year. go visit the elders at my uncle's. every year the relative count is less and less. my gosh, ic ant imagine when my grandpa dies and no one visits anymore. this is kinda depressing. ang pow money is dropping drastically too. but thankfully for my dad's one big ang pow.
anyway, after uncle's we visited my grandma. that was much better cos i saw sheryl! yea, my dear cousin from hong kong. omg! she's so pretty now lah. hahaha, and the babay cousin is so darn cute. not to mention the food and cookies there. im happy there.
anyway, the main highlight was the night time part. met reg at city hall then had dinner at fishermen's wharf with my mum. after that went to esplanade for a walk. met jo and alwyn then we began our little night tour! hit the streets of geylang first. what for u may ask? to look for whores!!! hhaha. well, we took a walk and my gosh, al got pinched and asked for sex! and people kept staring at reg and jo. after walking up and down a few streets, i have to say, no doubt these girls are sexy, but i didnt see a single one that i wld call pretty. but what a sad life they lead.
next stop, desker road and little india, no whore spottings there.
next stop, dempsey road, yup, the haunted barracks. nothing too scary. but nonetheless, a bit haunting.
next stop, labrador park. the PARK itself by the beach is quite a nice place. really, it is. we should have a class bbq there. the jetty, the stars, the atmosphere.
but here comes the scary part! alwyn was saying about this path that leads to the cannons or something. MY GOODNESS. the moment i walked up the slope, reg, jo and myself freaked out completely. ran all the way back down. hahaha. shit, i keep having a feeling of something being behind me or on top of me after coming home. yeeeeeeeeeee. scary.
and thanks to my dear mum for fetching us around, yes, though u were tired but u still brought us around. THANKS SO MUCH! LOVE U LOTS!
