just finished reunion dinner, had steamboat with the family.
i realised every year its the same thing over and over again. and my mum, wow, she's amazing preparing everything all by herself. i really love her. THANKS MUM! I LOVE YOU
tmr would be a day at my uncle's house visiting and meeting the relatives. i rmb it used to be really packed when i was young, with friends and all coming over. but over the years since my granny died everyone just sort of dispersed. and this yr, 3 aunts wont be present for CNY. R.I.P Aunty SALLY.
makes me think, this once a year i see u kinda relatives, damn, i ve got friends that i have closer ties with. they say u can count on family, i wonder how true is it. but not like i want to test it!
and yes babe, i love u but i am so going to tell my relatives that im gay when they ask! haha.
every year, its less and less forward looking to CNY. its kinda like birthdays, when u re young, u live for that day once a year. nowadays, its just another day. get what i mean? insignificant.
this year, all im looking forward to is the cookies and meeting my cousin from hong kong. and also getting ang pow money so i can save for the recording and also spend on my baby.
