As usual i would websurf after a show to discreetly view comments about Bad Obsession. And i came across this 'Today is the happiest day of my life, cos i got the Bad Obsession album'.
Inside was of cos was other content about the band which i am too shy to post, but it just gave me this overwhelming warming sensation. Feels better than falling in love.
A year ago we were just people trying to live our dreams, though we're still far from acheiving what we set out to do, we've come a really long way since the low-key run-down bar shows.
We've got real fans now, i ve got fans that freak the hell outta me but hell im enjoying the attention. (who honestly wldn't?)
Why people even bother about us let alone support Bad Obsession is still something that i still cannot comprehend, but a lot of times i feel we take all these things we have for granted.
Which has been making me depressed for a while because honestly, i don't know where we're headed for anymore. Playing in a band is like working in a project group, you have the good times, and you head for ditches at times.
Personally i am horrible when it comes to misunderstandings and conflict resolution, but i think i've tried my best this time. I used to leave things as they were, hanging without a conclusion, happened with my old friends, happened with my ex-gfs, etc. But this time i think there is just too much to lose, we have to make this happen because we believe in it, and worked hard for it.
I've played over 150 shows to date, but before every set, i still feel nervous, not in terms of stage-fright, but the uncertainty of the things that would soon be taking place.
But when Bad Obsession or Astroninja gets annouced, and you guys scream at the top of your lungs, it just takes every single worry, and every single uncertainty away.
To everyone that bothered to give a damn about us, thank you. No amount words could ever convey the amount of gratitude for the friendship and support, but still, Thank You :)
Merry Christmas! :)
