just got back from the rock your world/Bad Obsession one year anniversary show at Timbre.
it seems like just ytd when we played at powerjam and now a year has passed. Time really flies when you're with the right people having fun together as a gang ":)

anyway, what i really wanted to say here, is a big thank you to all the friends/fans that came down tonight.
you guys taking time out just to come down and celebrate this special show with us meant a lot to me personally.
sometimes i see other bands with a shit load of fans, and i tend to feel a little envious like why don't we get that amount of support? but then i realise, real support is the kind you get with dedication, not the fans that support the music/band just because it it trendy or seen as the "in-thing" and then dump it the next day when the genre goes out of the "popular zone".

so thank you very much for standing by us from the time we sucked up till now when im starting to become deaf from playing too many shows.
i bet you guys don't even know my blog let alone will read this but still, thank you very much.

and yea, my ears are in a worst state than from yesterday, the moment i got off stage i felt this immense pressure in my ears and subtle ring in the eardrums.
visited the doctor yesterday and he gave me some medication and said to take it and see how it goes. if it doesn't get better, i 'd have to go for an audigram next week.

i got around to thinking, if i really am developing hearing loss, i think i'd probably give up playing music, ok, maybe not fully, but definitely reducing the amount of time spent around loud noise by a huge percentage.

i mean, as much as i love performing and playing music, our ears only regenerate themselves up to a certain point and thereafter you'd just become deaf eventually.

i don't have very good eyesight so its really not a good idea to push the boundaries and become deaf when im only 18!

so yea, im just really hoping everything will be fine and i don't have to give up something that i love so much.
