anyway, it's sort of funny yet annoying to see and hear naive people saying that Live Earth is a contradiction because it is seven countries wasting energy while promoting a conserve energy and preserve the environment concert.

well, think about it, these countries might be wasting a little more energy just for this 24 hours but if the message of conservation reaches out to the whole world after this concert, imagine the impact that will benefit the earth?

yes? no?

so what would you rather have? continue to have people not know how much they are damaging the earth and continue doing so?
or waste little more energy and "contradict" your own causes while achieving a much bigger cause?

i would pick the latter.

lose the battle, win the war.
