SMOKIE LIVE IN CONCERT

so ytd my new found friend iylia very kindly offered me tickets to watch this band called SMOKIE.

truth be told, i had no idea whatsoever bout who they were or how they sounded like.
so i went to youtube and saw this video of them playing "living next door to alice cooper".
nice sounds they had. kinda like beatles plus stones plus CCR.

i missed about 1 hr of the whole concert held at d'marquee at downtowneast cos of jamming with SF ending late and also really bad traffic.

anyway, went in and i actually knew like a few songs they were playing.
fantastic band i must say!
amazing showmanship plus incredible musicianship.
the way they linked songs and had breakdowns plus the vocal harmony was jst inspiring la.

the crwd was mostly middle - aged people so my mother kinda fit in well and i was the sore thumb that stood out in the arena.

but damn, these people sure know how to rock!!!

i enjoyed myself so much.
i must say that SMOKIE sure kicked YNGWIE's big fat ass!
