thanks for coming down
had a great time at the exposure 77 gig yesterday. big thanks to the people that came down and the organisers. also a shout out to eleine, olivia, halimah, alwyn, sabrina and her friend, and all the soft people. i actually expected people to come in after our set and i was kinda saddened to play to a small crowd again. but man, to my disbelif, our set had one of the biggest crowds and i believe we had one of the better crowd responses of the whole show. some bands that i really enjoyed were LGF, one buck shot and enigmatic! the rest were really good too! though we jst did 3 songs, i had a really great time rockin out and playing and all. but, goodbye to xenon, hope to find some new guys to make music with and hopefully do the genre of music i enjoy!
oh, and what a surprise, halimah won a 300 dollar voucher with the tic i gave to her, haha, during MY SET!!! hahaha, when i heard her name, i was like, WOOOOO alright!!!!! happy for her. maybe her bro can make use of it or maybe she can buy an amp and then start rocking out!!!! and myself, hahaha, i won a fender screwdriver with alwyn's tic. haha, at least i won something lah.
made a few friends from the gig too, people like chun, melv and the guys from LGF. chun is really fun guy to talk to man. hahha, i talked to him for quite a long time, talking bout guitars, gear and music and bands.
anyway, ill probably not be gigging for a while due to the fact that im kinda bandless. though ill probably be trying out 3 bands in the next 2 weeks, hope something works out and let GOD pave a nice road for US!
anwyay, today was great... hahaha, we went for CC and again, i was stoning in class. i gt bloody 60 marks for my essay, it shldnt be since its called creative writing, what might seem wrong could be deemed a marvel when i eventually start wrting for magazines......... or maybe nt.... hahaha.ICP was fun.... i managed to get an hr of sleep, bt i failed the test!!!!1 im a loser..... one more thing to spoil my day.... ITB test.... fortunate, GOD loves me and i managed to get 340 pts. which is quite an achievement since i ve NEVER payed attention at all during this class and i expected to fail poorly.
