fuck this shit........... i typed a 1000000 word long first post and this ......... thing decided that it shld refresh itself and lose all the typings.
anyway, i dont knw what made me create a blog, cld be that in the past few dayss i ve had more than 10 people asking me if i had a blog and asking me to create 1.
so..... this one is for u guys..
anwyay, life has been great, poly has been great. im lucky to be in a class thats really cool with all the great people and friends. people like, bob, eugene, alwyn and all the others, really make school fun and cool. they are all great people and great friends. also managed to make some great friends from other classes like eleine, olivia and a few others. only downside to poly is that it takes up so much time that im lucky if i get to cram jst 2 hrs of guitar playing in a week. bt heck, who cares, so what if i can play like malmsteen, gilbert or vai.... doesnt take me anywhere because im a singaporean and im chinese. to be famous, u cannot be singaporean and u cannot be chinese.... wait....... actually, u can be chinese...... just look at herman li from Dragonforce!
anyway, one event that im particularly looking forward to would be Xenon's farewell gig. we ve been together for arnd 4 mths and played more than 5 gigs already. its very encouraging because i knw of bands that been together for a year and nv ever performed before. anyway, this sunday, wld be our last show together... after that we ll be taking a long long hiatus. so, we hope that everyone wld come down and give us support cos we re gonna give it our all! the gig will be at excelsior hotel ballroom and tickets are going for 10 bucks each. show starts arnd 12 30. we re breaking up due to school and time constraints and shit, maybe its the musical direction, but whatever it is, i hope that GOD will give us each a path that will lead us to do what we really enjoy and hopefully create something BIG and NEW. and i knw GOD is totally capable of doing all that. anyway, its been a really great 4 mths and i ll really miss all the great jams and gigs that we did together, love u guys! anyway, we ll only be playing 3 originals and thats it! bye bye!
