when they said the local music scene is full of backstabbing, open hypocracy and other shit like this, u better believe its true.

believe me, tons of friends arnd the scene have experienced it. people bullshitting about other bands la, blah blah blah, open slandering of bands/members ah, blah blah blah.

ok, why am i saying this? its cos im doing an article on music and surprisingly a lot of the respondents say that in the scene, bands themselves dont support other bands but yet pull them down into the depths of hell.

oh well, just yesterday, i had like a 20 min sms volley squabble with levan of ronin.
u see, 2 weeks ago, levan and myself were talking about SF's gig at CGS. levan was telling me that CGS girls were horny amongst many other things.
so, in the midst of the soft.com thread where i was promoting the gig, many forumers started asking if the girls would strip and do funny stuff and if they were even hot.

i replied that i wldnt knw much since i havent played there, but i wld knw that they re horny since levan said so.
well, 2 days later, i get an sms from levan saying to take the post off cos he didnt want anyone harbouring wierd thoughts and didnt want to offend anyone.

ytd night, i gt an sms at 12 midlnight in a accusing tone telling me that he got into trouble with a teacher from CGS because of something i posted that he meant as a private conversation with a "friend"

now now now, lets see. in his msg, the words private conversation = msn. no disclosure that i cldnt post what he told me. and even so when i posted the comment, i only said the least bit about them being horny and merely meant it as a passing joke to reply to the numerous people asking me about the CGS girls.

he mentioned i abused his trust as a friend. u see, the irony is that anyone cld see the post as a joke and even so, he never mentioned to keep it between us. considering the fact that everytime he sends me new songs or gives me information about other bands and tells me to keep it secret, i nv do send it out nor do i tell anyone about what he says.

so then u see, usually, i wld just apologise and back down because, as most wld know, the music scene is too small to offend a "big gun" like levan. and i wldnt want to create a scene considering that back in april SF's frontman and my good friend ming had a trivial arguement with levan and sly, and up till today, whenever they see me they ll ask, where's ur singer!!!???

u see, the wierd thing is i never imagined people to be so petty considering that humans do have their off days and mood swings or whatever.
well, yesterday i had my "fuck off u asshole" day. so naturally i didnt so easily say sorry sorry and let the matter rest since i do stand that i have no fault in posting a comment that i felt was jst a passing joke and yet having him come up to me accusing me and linking it to other stuff such as trust and personal relationships.

u see, what i hate is being accussed and blamed without a forceable reason. even if my grandmother does that. i'd fuck her upside down.

anyway, nonetheless i did apologise but still stood to the fact that anyone cld possibly see that it was a joke. evermore it came from levan, a ROCKER! not from lee kuan yew or some straight faced fella.

my point is, the comment came from ur mouth, u didnt say to keep it secret, u come accusing me and blaming me for ur misfortune and i bet anyone can see its a joke, (heck there were even more obscene things mentioned in the thread). not my fault. if u wanted to clear urself with the teacher, u can come forth with a much better tone. no point apologising about coming across too strong after the whole episode.

so, after a several hundred more sms volleys and me telling him that he d be garanteed that he wont hear anything from me about him or about ronin(think publicity) anymore. he comes to tell me that he s disappointed on a personal level with me and not to pull his band in.

its funny though, that the comment was posted 2 weeks ago, SF played CGS a week ago. and its only now that the teacher called him up about the comment which was only posted for a short 2 days. even still on an open internet forum there s is no certainty that whatver posted it true.

heck, i cld be britney spears if i wanted to.

but still, i actually do wonder the severity of the whole thing considering that he kept saying he's in major shit and blah blah. i wonder what kinda major shit u can be in jst by saying that CGS girls are horny.horny. unless well, levan really get to experience them first hand.

lets hope some teachers call me up tmr. it ll be good scandle for me and my band.

but nonetheless, i meant no harm in the whole incident. and im jst pissed over him and his flying words before even rationalising the whole thing.

funniest thing is the whole thing went from RAHRAHRAHRAH agression all the way to him saying a stupid teacher aint worth our friendship.

u knw, this post isnt really necassry. but its my blog. and im angry. not over this, but angry is general. so i shall rant.
and also because of this incident, i dont feel like calling him up to interview him for my feature article.

never the less, im glad that we re both cool. and that it didnt end on a sour note.
